Tutorial - Gift origami box

On pictures below you can see how to make cute origami gift box. To make it you will need 2 square pieces of paper 12 x 12 cm (near 4'), scissors, ruler, pencil and double-sided adhesive tape.

From one piece of paper we will make bottom of box, and from another - cap. Take first piece and check middle on each side of square.
Than with ruler fold corners inside.

If the paper is thick, make sure that you fold it proper.
Than on each fold check 1.5 cm from both end.
 And fold again.

Fold two opposite sides on first fold. And than fold on second fold but now with inside corner.
 And help yourself with ruler.
Unfold in all and repeat with another opposite sides.

Unfold again. Stick adhesive tape on each side. If the paper isn't thick you can pass this.
Remove the protective tape from 2 opposite sides and fold them.
Fold the corners as on pictures below without removing protective tape.

When you are sure you fold it good and accurate, remove the protective tape.
 And fold again :)

Make it with last side. And our bottom is ready.
To make cap you mast repeat it all with some differences. Before second folding check 1.3 mm instead of 1.5 to be sure that cap will be little bigger than bottom.
 Here it is.
And our gift box at all:
I hope it will be useful. Gift season is coming ;)
